Been building a couple things. A toy box for a neighbors grandson at xmas. And a desk for my granddaughters birthday. An enjoyable change of pace.

Really nice Yote! I started on a kitchen island last week. 3 of 4 drawers went in a-ok, I spent about 2 1/2 days on the 4th drawer! That put me behind schedule...

Those are beautifully turned legs on that table, reminds me of my second girlfriend lol. Seriously you have quite a talent, do you do this professionally?

I would like to take credit for the legs but don't have a lathe. A friend gave me the legs still nib from Montgomery Wards. I only do these things part time plus a little restoration within my capabilities.

Very cool. My Grampa did woodworking and became quite a skilled hand carver. Awesome to create things that last beyond your lifetime.

Nice work Yote! Im making some toy boxes but nothing like that! Mine looks like kindling compared to yours...lol
I agree its a nice change. Very limited with room, but doing what I can. Ive been able to put some wood working tools I inherited when dad passed. Feels good.
Always have done my own renos but woodworking is somewhat new to me.
Have you got plans for those?

I have not built but one thing from plans, however I did have a toy box to look at to design from. Usually , at best I draw a very basic design and start building. Plans would be much easier and save time.
