Has anyone gone mid 11's or better with the Schumacher or TTI shorty headers?

About a half second left on the table. .44 seconds to be exact. I've read this before when my TTI's started to crap out. I ended up buying TTI's. They are harder to intall but IMO they are the way to go.

So you're saying you picked up .44 going to TTI's from the shorty headers?

They picked up .44 seconds in the article test by switching from Schumacher to TTI.

I never ran my car until after switching. What I will tell you is the seat of the pants for sure felt different and the car ran cooler.

The Schumacher big block tri-Y's ? We ran in the 11.90's with a 65 Belvedere 451 stroked 400. Fully a street car, 3500 stall, 4.10 gears.weight was about 3800 lbs. The headers were open with 18'' extensions. So yeah,it can be done.

Oh gotcha. I read that test. I was just curious about other experiences. Thanks!

Yes I have, Schumachers, I run an average 11.50s at Keystone raceway in Pa. Quickest pass was at Mason Dixon Dragway in MD. at 11.37s. all runs are with cutouts open

I'm going to guess so long as your exhaust is the same size is the collectors with a free flowing muffler you'd probably still be damn close to that.

I would say the same that. I started using the cutouts when I hit 12.00. I have not tried it since. May have to do a test this coming year.

I'm running 3" with XR-1 Borlas. I like running the DOT classes they have at the strip. For the other footbrake classes you're running the clock anyway.
