Cam-only 5.7's in the eagle configuration are 460-480 hp machines.
on a pre-09, W/o a bump in compression, or a complete rotating assembly, you're going to have your work cut out hitting 500 with a stock rotating assembly.
Engine masters just did an 03 with ported heads, cam, and throttle body with a stock bottom end (not rebuilt) and made 475 or 485, I cant remember the exact number.
