The reason I choose 4" BS is because after drawing everything to scale on my CAD program, it was the best overall fit. No spacers for me. The CAD showed 4.25" would work but it was pretty tight. Just being cautious. May try 275's just for grins.
Huh. I had 275/40/17's on 17x9's with a 4.75" backspace fit on the BBP 7.25 in my Duster back when everything was stock. Those were pretty tight on the springs, they might have needed a little more spacer for street use. But only an 1/8" or so. That's a big difference from 4" still.
Those seem to stick out further than the math indicates for those specs. You couldn't lower that car and still have those clear. Any chance those cragars have a 3.75" backspace? A lot of the older ones did.
