Any interest come get it $300 OBO.

Comes with 2bl intake, original heads. Motor mounts,dist,pan,cover,fuel/water pumps
Turns over easy, surface rust on heads/valves. Havnt time to remove oil pan yet
Will also throw in 727 trans/core & non-stock convertor (unknown).
Located North burbs Chicago.

That should be the high compression engine (9.1:1). Do the cylinders have much ridge on them?? Not sure if you can get those tall (compression height) stock type pistons any more. It should also have the 69cc heads (if original). If you post head casting numbers I can verify for you??

Yep, those are the same heads that were on my '69 Barracuda 318. When I removed my heads I checked them and they were 69CC combustion chamber size. The book says they should be between 60 and 67CCs. Either way if you have the original stock type pistons in the engine it should have 9.1:1 CR with those heads.

Yep, I know the 67 spec 318 was 9:1 and those pistons look pretty high in the bore. I have a 67 special Teener ando it runs great
 
I've got a '67 in my basement from my first car, a '68 Satellite that I crashed a lot. I believe '70 is the the first year they dropped the pistons lower in the hole. There was definitely a difference between that motor and all of my other 318s. Funny, that was the first year they started painting them blue..
