Lokar throttle cable with Edelbrock 650

Only if he hits the end of the cable because the throttle pedal assembly is a lot tougher than the throttle return spring.

I'm telling ya the simplest fix for that problem is pulling the gas pedal up pretty firmly.

Could also mess with it for weeks taking it on and off until you find out it needed the angle changed a little and pulling up on the pedal does it.:D

I had to do the same thing on my 73 dart. I was useing a tunnelram and two 750 Edelbrock carbs. It doesn't take much to bend the peddle up and I never had any problems with the peddle after that
