Hi Guys, can anyone help with a reference pic for a 64 Dart/Canadian Valiant, I need to see what this Ebrake bracket looks like before it broke off the underside of my car, it is circled in blue, thanks for your help in advance

i dont know for sure, but dollars to donuts it would look the same as the one to the right of it, which is NOT broken

Assuming a Canadian Dart is similar to a US Dart...here are pics of the two brackets under my '64 Dart Wagon (matches what diymirage said) - HTH

That sure is a clean floorpan. Media blasted or dipped?
Stroker

It was media blasted and epoxy primed, its on the rotiserre getting what it deserves, your car looks great, I'm thinking of going white or silver on red..

If your running frame connectors and it looks like it in the pictures, I think you will find you will want to convert the park brake cable set up to the 1967 and up single style to help clear the frame connectors.

Great tip, I will look into it, thanks

Gold66cuda, do you have any information on the 67 up brake cable setup. I would be interested in seeing it. I need something different for my 66 Dart that I put frame connectors on.
Thanks Rod

Hi Rod, I basically used the later set up front to back. I think i ordered a 68 primary cable, cable from park brake handle to spliter at back, and ran the 68 rear cables from the spliter to the rear brakes.

I drilled a hole on an angle at the front of the frame connector to run the primary cable through, I welded a cable guide on the back of the frame connector and added the spliter after that. Works great and passed inspection.

Gold66cuda, Thanks for the information. I should be able to make that work. Im not only fighting the frame rail connectors but also a 3" exhaust system! Thanks Again

No problem, glad to help. I have 2 1/2"exhaust and it clears no problem. You will have to notch your trans cross member on the right side to gain ground clearance for your exhaust.

Exhaust is already done and I did have to notch the trans cross member.
Thanks again
Rod
