Ritter 59 degree iron block

What you guys seem to be missing is that this block is for SERIOUS racing only, or anyone who doesn't mind spending the $$$ for a block that can handle and even help create big power. And since there are NO aftermarket blocks available right now, this is it for a while so at least there IS a block available.
If you need or want it, it's there to be had...if not pass it up. Very cut and dry. I believe someday someone will cast blocks again that will fill the need for 600-800HP small blocks but it won't be in the next 2-4 years from what I can see.
Just as a side note, if you bought an R3 right now from Indy, (they only have water blocks, no Siamese bore blocks anymore) they are 3800.00....if you include shipping, and machine work you'll be quite close to the same cost as the Ritter without the capability of a large bore/large (60mm) cam tunnel and no priority main oiling...so until we can get blocks for the masses in the 3000. neighborhood this is what sb guys are stuck with...or we can do aluminum block BB's for even more $$$! Right now is a bitter sweet time for Mopar guys...more cylinder heads than ever and NO affordable blocks to bolt them to. But if people keep complaining eventually someone will get the ball rolling once again.
