Milodon Oil pan fitment

I absolutely hate that kind of pans, that's why, two hours ago, i ordered a new Canton oil pan for my motor. It has straight sides and it's 9" deep and 7qt. oil capacity.
Canton #15-900.
Edit: Oil pan was ~236$ and pick up was ~75$

Does that hang down real far below the K member. I was told that the Milodon pad widens out so that it doesn't hang down to far.
