I am not sure if I should post this here, or in the body forum, but I guess it can be moved if I don't get a response. I am curious if anyone has replaced their factory antenna with a modern stubby one. I currently don't have one at all, and would like to have a nice looking one than the factory offers. If anyone has done this, was it a plug and play, or was trimming on the fender involved? Let me know please!

Thanks,
Alex!

Should just go into the existing hole, I know I have seen them around. Not hard to install at all.

If you have the factory base and cable in the fender,,They make replacement shafts about a foot long with about 2'' of coil.they come with adapters to screw into existing hardware.I replace the ones on my Harley tour pac removing the wip style that I was always running into. The also make short rubber/plastic ones but they didn't hold up too well.

I ended up replacing mine with a universal power antenna I got on sale. I just had to remove the inner fender splash shield and the kick panel to put it in. I wanted something that retracted into the fender so I could use my car cover. You might need to fab up a washer as I think the hole in the fender is a bit larger than the replacement antennas take.

Hi Alex,
Retro sound has power antennas for our classic Mopars. They are a bit spendy ($159.99), but an option to consider.

They have specific Plymouth and Dodge options, although I'd bet they are the same antenna.

I got my replacement shafts at Pep Boys. I'm sure at the auto parts stores if they don't have them they can get them
