Unless you are racing in a class that requires stock heads they aren't work messing with. There is no logical reason to put money into porting a stock iron head.
In regards to cam choice I'm going to recommend you go solid lifter. I see you planned on a comp cam. Here is a comp cam in a solid very similar to what you were looking at.
