Does anybody know if any of the turbo kits out there will allow stock hood closure. I do not want any kind of scoop.

There aren't any turbo kits that I know of. I built my own and with the right intake and carb hat I think you can fit everything under a stock hood. I was able to.

member Prine on here is or was making turbo kits for small block Abodys. also there was a member over on moparts that was in the process of making a kit for a small block A-body too but have not looked in a while to see how far he has gotten.

I've seen turbo kits that position the turbo in the rear of the car, with plumbing running to motor. Don't recall the brand off hand though...

I believe STS-Turbo made those kits that ran from the rear to the front of the car! I know they make one for the FRS. I have seen them in Camaro's also, but don't know how it would fit in an A-body...

My setup fits under my stock hood, and has power steering.

There is no aftermerket Manufacturer of Bolt on Turbo kits for Mopar A-Body.....so I built my own.

Mine fits, but it's very close. M1 FI intake, throttle body about the size of a carb, and a procharger bonnet.

Did you use the stock power steering pump too?

The car I have that made dart built the set up for fits two turbos under a stock hood. Air to water intercoolers are in the fenders behind the headlights. Can find his thread on here think on page 6 or 7, see all he did.

Thats for sure, can't wait to get the engine built and see how the set up runs.
