who can decode a 318 engine stamp number?

Could be an 8 between the 0 and 6 it looked like a space at first but might just be a light stamp also I checked under the grease on the passenger side pan rail ( thanks cracked back ) and there it was...the matching serial number to the Vin. .so I guess we keep it now, I know many would say why it's only a 318 but the way these things have been going up in value lately who knows and there is only ONE of these blocks!
