Ok made a desision on camshaft between these two

Ok listened to a lot of mombo, jumbo from u guys but ,I think I know best from reading gobs of stuff from people who Know!!! I'm going to try a hydraulic cam first, tried many progams, the camquest, quarter jr and others and if I go up higher than 260-265@050duration the solids definitely have the edge, but at a lower duration they don't make much more power than the hyd but then I'm not wanting to go any higher that 6,000-6,200 tops So the winners are the XE295HL comp 251-257 dur@050 with 565 lift or the 60305 Lunati which is 242/252 dur@050 and 533/552 duration probably going with the Lunati as I love them and theyhave been good to me for 30yrs,plus love their Micro Trol lifters,if I don't make 565-600 hp then. Next year I'll get a set of Mancini Harland sharp copies for 469.95 and try a solid or Hyd roller,do'nt want to go any higher than 650hp and don't think I won't make it because I do everything right, MY last 406 sbc made 625hp with 285cfm heads and my one before that made 675hp with a set of stovck oval port truck heads with just 2.19 and 1.88 valves instead of 2.07 and 1.72 ex BBC heads and big heavy trw pistons and 12-1 compression..So I just want a vote on the Lunati or the Comp cam XE that's all No other comments please about not enough head flow,my engine WILL make it with 285@550 lift
