Do slant six swaps make you feel guilty?

At car shows,Ive ran into this situation with my 1965 Dart /6, factory Hurst 4spd, convertible.
Many say, put in a small block, which I've thought about many times.
This car is a documented 1-23 Darts built with this combination, for 65.
With the rarity of this car, I just dont have the heart to do it.
