D Dart Cam Specs

Would anyone have or know of the 66 D Dart cam specs?
hi, these are from dodge tech service bulletin, dated april 18, 1966. 284 duration, both int and exh. valve lift is .495 int, .505 exh. events are Io 30 close 74 . exh, is 74 eo, 30 e c .overlap is 60 deg. lash is .013 int, .021 exh.

Are you planning on making a D-Dart engine for your wagon? That would be cool Don!

No. A friend of mine knows Racer Brown who would like to make a few D Dart-spec cams. I am still working on the modified slant and if I can somehow add AC to work with power steering and the triple Weber set-up . . . . We'll see!

I have what he needs -- as far as degrees and lift for each. Do you know what he is going to charge for one or two? I think he told me around $700 for the first. That's why I didn't puruse it. Ideally, he would like a cam to copy off of.

Yes, ideally an original D Dart cam to copy would be ideal. I have no idea of what he would charge. I am making the inquiry for his friend (mine as well).

I've contacted a couple people that might have D/Dart cams but had no luck finding one. One member here has a friend that has a similar one but I don't think it is an exact duplicate. The only person that indicated that he had one was Paul Ceasrine. Unfortunately he passed away. He was doing a cam comparison on this site and got to the D/Dart cams and quit. Probably to rattle my chain. I think Paul went by 69 Cuda 440 on this site.
I'll call Jim this week and see if he's interested in my info. Even though I'd like one, I'm not going to pay no $700 for a cam for my D/Dart.

hi, D Dart, can you send me a pvt message? thanks.

In talking with my friend (who is friends with Jim - Racer Brown), he is looking for an original cam to duplicate rather than specifications which may or may not be exact

I'm new to the early A's and have a question. What is a D-dart? Was it an engine pkg. offered for the early 273 Darts? (Higher comp, Better heads, 4bbl, and high flow exhaust manifolds)? I'd be interested in any info on this engine.

Chrysler built 50 cars to compete in NHRA's D/S class. The cars were 1966 Dodge Dart GT's with 275 horsepower 273 engines. Just do a search on here for D/Dart or my member name ddartdude. You'll find out what you might need to know. Also do a google search for ddart2. We have a website on them.

How many people would buy a D/Dart cam? Just posing the question. The price would be a little higher than an off the shelf cam due to the cost of masters.
