ok, back to the story. I decided to use the scat crank, heads and push rods from the crap motor. We worked the Stage VII heads until they flow 404 cfm on flowbench, happy with that. Bought new custom Diamond pistons and rods, compression ratio will be 12.5:1, I love the way race gas smells. New bullet camshaft, don't remember the specs offhand but will provide later. The crank had to be massively reworked to attain throw clearance and balancing, my engine builder is also a great machinist. These events have been slowly coming together over the last 3 years. Wife is not happy (I don't blame her one bit) but I am now "connected" with the car (you guys and gals know that can only happen by extensive planning and wrenching). to be continued...I really hope to find the owners of the remaing car(s).
