They sure trashed some Mopars in this

We actually counted how many mopars were killed in that movie , it was like 120 something IIRC. Lots of 70 Coronet 4 doors

Only in SF can you have a car chase like that, Poor Eleanor!
Wonder how many mustangs they destroyed.

Yeah well look at Dukes of sh*thole they wrecked how many chargers and B bodies making that series.

At least they didn't use a high end Mustang. It wasn't even a MACH 1. It was a base model.

Junkyard man was another of his films that trashed a lot of cars and a helo!

I think Gone in 60 Seconds was in southern california, Bullitt was up here in San Francisco.

Besides, who cares, with Moosetangs, you can buy a brand new body. There's an ad that pops up here for CJ Performancesomethingorother. $18,500 or so for the brand spankin new body. =( I'd lay that kind of dough down for a brand spankin new 68 fastback barracuda or 71 demon, with modern metallurgy in the thing...

Gone in 60 seconds....Nah Bro, that was downtown Long Beach! At 00:48 he passes a lime green box on his left going down Pine St. Thats one of my telephone boxes! See that big ship with 3 stacks? Thats the Queen Mary..been docked there since LBJ. That big bridge with the girders on top is being demolished in the very near future...seems its falling apart as there are nets under it to catch the chunks of concrete falling from its belly! The Scenes where he is driving through the parks and large parking lots in the city is where the Long Beach Grand Prix is held. I work that area every day and it was hard for me to recognize it myself as its changed so much. There is only 1 small 3 story hill but 4 parallel streets go up it so they kept going up and down it. I liked the bass guitar soundtrack and the one liners the driver has " I should have read my horoscope today..." "Lady, get out of the street!". Was he stealing that Mustang? Why...that thing is Fugly. All those cop cars were probably retired, with too many miles on them.
