My 51 projection tv just died about a week ago. Using a 32 I had downstars for now. At 8 to 12ft either is OK. I think up to 55 would be good for our room. 60 might be too much. Growing up our B&W was probably 19" with a crap picture and poor reception. We watched it from any angle at any distance. LOL
I have a 55' curved screen. we can see the picture pretty well in the kitchen, almost a full 90 degrees from the tv in the living room Samsung, seems to be a great investment. happy w/ it so far, like the curved screen !
