Which FEL-PRO Head Gasket would you recommend? Blue or SD?

Which Fel-Pro head gasket would you guys recommend based on experience? I'm trying to decide between FP 521SD and 8553PT.
 
And what's the application? Your sprint car?,... or a basic build? Please be more informative: build,usage,head studs or bolts,aluminum or iron heads? Kinda important....

Just a 318 for my Duster. Mild cam, 4bbl, 9:1 compression.
 
use what comes in a fel pro gasket set for whatever year your engine is, or use whatever gasket has the smaller bore size, being a 318

So they both seal equally well? Should I use some copper spray seal by Permatex or no?
 
The FelPro 100xs I have found, in my experience are reuseable.... I have a set on my 367 that have been in and out and are on their third install, the last time in 2004;probably over 60,000 miles ago. Hyup, the things you learn when you're broke.............
That's one short-cut I thought would come back to bite me,lol. But it just keeps going and going and going. The thin Orange ones were ready to pop after just one summer, on my 11.3 Scr combo
