Thanks for all the comments. Its good to hear all the different views, I will wait and see if the car comes to local car meets. Meanwhile I'm on the hunt for my next budget A body, would like to go to local shows with another car , my wife is pushing for another car, anyone have one in NJ or close? Lol

I hope you didn’t give him your number. I did some work on a chevelle. The friend that owned it, sold it to some disturbed asshole. The buyer wanted to know about the car, so my friend gave him my info. That guy harassed me for 2 years, asking me the same questions every time he saw me. I finally told him to get the F away from me. My friend was a **** for pushing the buyer off on me. It wasn't my car. And the guy that flipped your car is a dick. He knew full well what he was going to do with the car when he got it. You sold it to a guy that led you to think he was going to love this creation of yours for a long time. If you knew his intentions, you probably would've sold it for more.

Wow-flippers,liars,thieves all on one sale!!!! You either sell a vehicle"as is" or you guarantee everything about the car and everything the new owner expects from it. Sentimental value is only valued by the owner-not the buyer! You are trying to merge a sale with a contract and you have no contract with the buyer.
