Hello to all! Ive researched twisters for this very reason and cant figure it out.......why the 4 inch holes in some twister hoods, but not in the majority?? Anybody??? Maybe the V8 cars had holes from the factory while /6 were scoops only?? Mines a V8 w holes and scoops, but ive seen them either way....any input?? Thankyou!

Friday afternoon, time to go home soon & 50 more hoods coming down the line?

Lol....ive heard allll those stories as well! A co worker at a dodge dealer witnessed it about 10 years ago when he pulled the dash out of a dodge ram for some warranty work. Neatly tucked inside was a empty pint bottle of assembly line fuel!!! Lol. It wasnt the cause of the issue, but the engineers made a perfect place to stuff a bottle!!

Well.....the twister wasnt available w a 340 being just a dress up model, but thats exactly why im thinking the 318s had the holes in the hood only maybe?!?!? Thanx for your input Yote!!
