what kind of air intake is everyone using?

You really should try to get cool outside air for the intake - Hemis do not like high intake temperatures. I opened up the opening in the rad support a bit as well.

Jim, the CFM flow info on K&N's is hard to find, but the one you have mounted there is likely too small for that Gen 3, especially if its modified at all.

I found this out when I started checking my set-up out. I ended up with a custom air filter set-up from a couple of guys in Canada. You could do some cutting and put a proper sized K&N on there.

The performance difference between what I had and what I'm running now was significant. You can feel the difference from the midrange and top-end big time.
