Hey, thanks :) yea so I used coarse blasting soda and a harbor freight hand blasting unit shown above. My compressor is a beast but I have seen folks rig up a soda blaster on youtube and use a box of arm&hammer on a motorcycle carb with a small compressor. I tried the blaster rig shown on youtube but a 20 dollar unit on harbor freight is way better.
I have one of these too and suggest it for an all in one carburetor and soda or small sand blasting (if you dont have such). It is adjustable on the output nozzle which helps. Abrasive Blaster Gun with 1 Liter Canister
