one of my best friends has a flow bench, and is known as mr sbc around here. you`d be surprised at what works on one brand head, doesn`t work quite as well on another. but, most standard porting does help anything. an overlooked sliver of metal left around a valve seat will have an astounding affect on flow . some heads like back cut valves, and some it aint worth the cost of doing !
