I did exactly that....for the exact same reason. Classic air system with recirc only. I did have a "uhhhhhhhh" moment when I realized the washer nozzles poked through the grate. So far I haven't addressed that problem...if I decide it's even a problem. I love the clean look and no more leaf/rust pit.

Definitely going to be a big improvement. The inside will get a good clean out and POR15.
I already ordered three different type/styles of washer nozzles... they are pretty inexpensive unless you look at Porsche or Mercedes... I took a short walk out to the parking lot and looked at a few cars. Wow there are a lot of different styles.

Did you use the Classic Auto Air Perfect Fit System? How do you like it?
