Intake and carb swap

I didn't see any ported pictures or much talk about it. He does have a few pages to rme through though.

I noticed the proper "Thick" carb gasket under that TQ. Good job, thumbs up!

I found it advantageous to make that mod on at least a stoutish build. It did not really shopw much on low power builds I did.
 
That makes me think of my 1st ride, the family 76 Town & County wagon with a 440. I flipped the over the air cleaner lid and the sound was intoxicating. I loved that Vah Vooooom sound. I'm debating on going the same route on my 408 street build.
 
I hear there Valkman. Ether an open air cleaner or the old high school "Lid Flip" trick let that sound be HEARD!
