Run Stand Bellhousing

So my dad talked me into building a run-stand for my 318 before putting it in the car. I have a 904 from John Cope but we've decided it would be a lot simpler to just throw on a bellhousing and flywheel for the stand.

I've seen truck 318 bellhousings on eBay for half the price of A body ones but I'm not sure if this will cause issues. Anyone have experience with this?

The only info on the bellhousing I'm current considering is:

#2899163 4spd 318 360 1969-1971 Truck

Ideally I'd like to find something that will let him use the flywheel in his D150 but I think he has an 11' clutch. As I'm sure you can tell, I know little about manual setups so please educate this noob.

Should work fine as long as you have the correct flywheel, much easier to deal with than a auto trans IMHO. I use a truck bell on my stand
 
I'm assuming i need a 10.5" flywheel but I can't seem to find a way to confirm. Might just have to ask the seller and hope they give the right answer. I'm also assuming I need 130 tooth flywheel since the only 143 tooth flywheel I see is an 11"

They didn't make a manual and an auto starter. That is just the later mitsubishi starter that pretty much everyone uses now. I have it on my 67 Valiant. The clutch contact area on the flywheel determines size. The difference was how many teeth on the ring gear. The starter's were all universal.

Yeah I'm assuming that it will simply work with a 143 tooth 11" wheel since that seems to be the only real option for a Mopar 11" flywheel but it'd be nice to see some kind of confirmation. I think the flywheel issues I'm thinking of are only an issue on Chevys since the starter is mounted on the block instead of the bellhousing.
 
This came off of a 360 with 11" clutch and is dual bolt pattern for 3 and 4spd and cast iron

I thought so :). I'm trying to clean house a bit on stuff I don't need so I can get stuff I do need
 
I kept the price low because it's 45lbs and cost about the same to ship it
 
Truck bell uses 143 tooth flywheel.
I also used a truck bell on my start stand, because I had it.
Keep in mind if you are going to use car headers, you have to ding them just to clear the small starter, factory starter is a no go with car headers.

Nice, thanks for the pic and the confirmation on the flywheel! i have a pair of Doug's and a mini starter, looks like I won't have too much issue with fitment.

Found a 143 tooth flywheel for $85 on Jeg's. Looks like I'll be in business pretty cheap. Local speed shop wanted $800 for a dyno break in ...

So problem #534 with this car: my dad ordered the flywheel and it was the wrong size. He got a 130 tooth which is a 10.5" flywheel i believe. No problem I thought, I'll just order that 143 tooth flywheel I found earlier. Problem: it's a 360 flywheel. They're all 360 flywheels at this size minus the super expensive drag racing ones. I guess Ma Mopar never put an 11" flywheel behind a 318. I thought about looking for 340 flywheels but that search came up empty. SOooooo does anyone know of anyone making a cheap OE replacement style neutral balance 143 tooth flywheel? Got a hit or 2 on eBay but they're chinese crap and roughly $200 with shipping.

Order a 318 flywheel for a 1978 dodge W-150 truck.
143 tooth, 11" clutch.

Plenty of pick up trucks with 318's and 11" flywheels out there, should be a dime-a-dozen.
