904's don't need a lot of work to take a pounding. Many run them behind high hp motors, and I'm talking drag cars.
"traction bars don't work" is pure bologna. There are systems that work better, but I can tell you, when you back end raises up 2 inches when you floor it, it's because something is giving it the torque to raise it up. It's called Pressure. I've seen them make one leggers spin both tires. They work, may not be the best, but they work. I've used pinion snubbers, slapper bars that replace the shock mounts, but traction bars help also.
