Should I swap intakes

Personally with your setup I think you'd benefit from the performer RPM but again, only one way to find out and you may regret that experiment.
With his set up I believe he will see an overall gain with the RPM intake . The power increase in the lower rpm ranges will more than offset the small loss from 5,200-6000 rpm.

To use the RPM you will have to use a drop base air filter.
The carburetor pad center height on the RPM is 5.35" and the Victor is 6.10". Whatever air cleaner set up he is using on the Victor should work on the RPM intake.
