The 500 has a 3.27:1 first gear, the 600 has a 2.87:1 first gear. I think the cases are the same. With the trans in the car you could count the rotations of the engine while the drive shaft turns once. Silver Sport Transmissions (shiftsst.com) can answer questions about the shifter.
