The vent window rubber seals on my '72 Dart have been cooked over the years and no longer seal to the doors along the bottom. I've poked around a few places and come up with wildly different pricing for a pair of these:

$80/pair:
Mopar A-Body - Dart Parts | MA2464 | 1967-72 Mopar A-Body Vent Window Weatherstrips | Classic Industries

$125/pair:
Vent Window Seal 67-72 A Body HT and FB

$250+/pair (be still my heart!):
1966-74 A B E-Body Vent Window Weatherstrips

Has anyone had any experience with and can attest to the quality of these or other similar parts? Or have a good solution for a different sort of fix? I'd love to not have to worry about water inside my doors.

I would go with the first set. I don't think 67-72 Valiant sedan and HT use the same seal but the rest of the cars listed are the same.

I recommend Metro Soft Seal I jut put them in this weekend. Great quality. Easy peasy.

While I was at it I would replace the plastic bushing that goes through the glass at the leading edge pivot. Mine broke in pieces the second I touched it.

US$250 is an incredible price to pay for a set of vent seals! Are they for Hardtop? Sedan are different. In Aust they want A$180 a pair (HT) which is way too high, if I needed them I would get the Soffseal ones shipped over. We did mine a few weeks ago and luckily the OEM ones cleaned up like new. Hope yours seal well.

Can you replace the vent window seal without taking the vent window frame out of the door?

Will the metro seal fit the 2 door sedan that is listed for the convertible or 2 door hardtop?

The sedan seals are different from the hardtop / convertible seals. Also, Soft Seal is a different manufacture than Metro Molded Products. They basically manufacture the same components. Metro markets their door and roofrail seals under the Super Soft logo which confuses people.
