Dropped the car back onto some jack stands. Tomorrow will be doing some cleaning of the bay and putting it back together.

So,, in 7 months here is what I have done , gutted interior, pulled out 7.25 and replaced it with a 8.75, 3.55 gears and an eaton true track. 10 x 2 and a half rear brakes. New fuel tank and sender. New floor pan. Converted to disc brakes up front from DR Diff. Scrounged up a 4 speed and all the parts, Had headwork done on a stout *** 318 and converted the car from a slanter to a v8 car. New tie rods, firm feel rebuilt manual box. Firm feel .940 torsion bars, Stewart Warner gauges, TTI shorty headers and their h pipe kit all the way out the back. She's still not pretty but that will come in time.

I would run the speaker wires down the passenger side rocker behind the flap

To keep from pinching wires and easy access if you ever need it. When running speakers and or an amp they always run the speaker wires down the passenger side and run the power wires down the driver side so you don't get interference in the speakers.

Stereo has an amp built in so no need for extra power wires to worry about. Who is they ?
