Dose anyone know what length of driveshaft would be required for a 70 Duster with a a833od from a "f" body to a stock 8 3/4 rear?, we are putting this factory 4 spd car back together but using a o/d trans instead of the factory 3 spd and it is a 318 car and it didnt come with a driveshaft, thanks.

Always best to measure using the yoke you plan to use.

Yes, it's best to measure your configuration to find out for sure what length you need, and use the yoke that you plan to run...

That chart is seriously messed up crackedback. Not a single length in that chart is even close to the driveshaft in ANY of my cars, and they're all stock except for the one in my Duster.

My '74 Duster with an A833 and 8 3/4 has a 49 1/4" driveshaft, I had it shortened when I installed the 8 3/4. The A833 and the A833OD transmissions are the same length, although some of them use different yokes so it's always best to measure. That actually is the factory length though, at least based on the other charts I've seen.
