73 A-body ball joint socket

There is NO difference in a 73-76 upper ball joint on an A body car, wether it is Drum brake or Disc brake car.
They are all what's considered a BIG ball joint.
There are rumors that some very early build, stripped down, drum brake, slant six, 73 A body cars were built with 9 inch Drum brakes, and would have a small ball joint, but coming across one of those cars in 2017 would be a rareity.
Here's a photo of what a ball joint socket looks like.
They have rounded corners, and are not 6 or 12 point sockets.
