Would this be good to repair the grill in my 65 barracuda. There is one piece broken and one of the tabs broken off. There are several choices, which would be the best to use.

The grille is pot metal so I would get something for aluminum repair and be sure to scuff it good and clean for adhesion.

I have been watching a few utube videos, just thought I would ask

Marine epoxy has done wonders for me, easy to use. But as mentioned
be sure to clean ,wire brush, clean, wire brush, with solvent, clean ,wire brush, then sand with 150 grit, clean than use epoxy and tape to hold where desired.

D.

Where would I find the marine epoxy

I love JB Weld and have used if for a number of repairs, but it does have limitations. Worked great to repair a broken headlight switch knob on my Gen. 1 Durango. Also worked great to repair an annoying rattling heat shield under my wife's Chrysler 300. That repair lasted a couple years and was still fine when she traded the car. I would try it on a scrap piece of pot metal first if you have any. Hey, if Paul Harvey loved JB Weld, it can't be all bad, LOL. Seems to work best on a rough, or porous surface.

Ha

Some auto parts stores, hardware store, menards, Home Depot.
It's a 2 part mix in twin tubes for easy use.
If one mounting tab broke, nothing will last unless backed with a thin
Sheet metal or aluminum backing. Best to have it soldered or brazed for a vibrating mount area like that. I assumed you were repairing
The grill ribs only.

One rib portion is broken and one tab. Thanks for the advice
