J B Weld

I love JB Weld and have used if for a number of repairs, but it does have limitations. Worked great to repair a broken headlight switch knob on my Gen. 1 Durango. Also worked great to repair an annoying rattling heat shield under my wife's Chrysler 300. That repair lasted a couple years and was still fine when she traded the car. I would try it on a scrap piece of pot metal first if you have any. Hey, if Paul Harvey loved JB Weld, it can't be all bad, LOL. Seems to work best on a rough, or porous surface.
