A body manual steering box
What year/car is this from?
it is an A Body manual box, I bought it as a loose part when I was accumulating parts for the rebuild of the 68 Barracuda..
along the line I also picked up a second manual box,, when I did the actual change over I basically flipped a coin, one went in and one stayed on the parts shelf,, it is now a couple of years years later and I am selling off some of what I had extra
Neither of the manual boxes I had were anything special, not close ratio,from a cop car ,,,, from what I understand there are two main variations to these manual boxes, the ones for A and B bodies ( I think that is right, I am certainly not positive on the B body statement) like this one and the ones for C bodies and vans, the C body and vans have a different shape inspection cover and have a larger diameter idler arm shaft,,,
this one is just like the other one that went in a 68 Barracuda, if that helps.
