Those 60 dollar valve cover gaskets will last forever. They are reusable. They do not leak. End of problem. Forever. Forever. Isn't forever worth 60 bucks? Even my cheap *** has to say yes.

unless # 2 header tube is right against the valve cover! "big block, raised port, TTI 2" headers" , have burnt up evert type I`ve tried. Rob, your working in a parts store aren`t u ? if so, does anyone make an asbestos type valve cover gasket for a 440 ?? I don`t have room to shim the header out. thinking, pulling it of and eggshaping the tube might be the only way, dang it !
