I seemed to develop this problem about 2 weeks ago the first time I enter a thread all works good then when I leave and go back in later it goes to the last post I read and I cant scroll up or down I done virus scans and the sorts all seems clean . is there a setting that I hit by mistake ?it seems to only happen here but that does not mean its the site it is most likely my pc . it sure does suck tho trying to follow threads . any thought's are welcome .

If using Internet Explorer there is a reset function under the advanced setting of the internet options.
This is either under "Tools" "Internet Options" then "Advanced" of Explorer's upper tool bar, or in the control panel under "Internet Options" then "Advanced"
You want to "Reset" and not "Restore Advanced Settings"
A lot of times the reset takes care of little problems like that.
(Note that this will require you to reset you home page back to what you want it to be)

If Firefox use this method.
  • Click the menu button and then click help .
  • From the Help menu choose Troubleshooting Information. ...
  • Click the Refresh Firefox button in the upper-right corner of the Troubleshooting Information page.
  • To continue, click Refresh Firefox in the confirmation window that opens.

thanks for your help my wife followed your instructions and the problems have seemed to disappear .

Same thing happens here occasionally on my iPad. 20 minutes or so later it works well again. Don't know what's going on.

Good, now remember that, because Explorer is about an unstable SOB and you may have to do that on occasion.

I went to advanced to do reset, when I saw "only use if your browser is in an unusable state" I did not do it, as I was only having a problem-page unresponsive-with this site. advice?

I did restart 2 weeks ago, and I always shut my computer off overnight about every 10 days, did not help. I also always clear browsing data etc. every other day. I think problem is gone since you did a tuneup a couple days ago

I didn't do a tune up

Oh, I was referring to your post yesterday at 11:40am saying we were working on it, from another but similar post, and yesterday and today I have not had page unresponsive
