I've used Forward Air to both sIhip and receive motors. Got a 340 short block out of CA and another 340 long block out of IL - both cost me $195. Shipped a long block Honda motor (son's) to AR. The main issue with using Forward Air is the shipment must be dropped at one f their terminals and pre-paid and picked up on the other end at their terminal. You might also check Fastenal.
