Flasher switch

Have you tried taking it apart and fixing it yourself. I did exactly that for my 69 Barracuda. I can't tell for sure from the picture, but as I remember, mine looked like that. On mine, there were 4 little metal tabs that held the metal casing to the bakealite back. I pried them up carefully and separated the pieces. There might have been a few small springs that helped maintain pressure on the contact points. I don't remember for sure as I pulled apart several switches and it was several years ago. The inside was so dirty and filled with dried out old grease, no wonder it didn't work. I cleaned it out thoroughly, scuffed all the contact points with 600 grit wet or dry paper, put a little Di-Electric grease on the contact points and put the switch back together. After almost 20 years, it is still working fine. And if it doesn't work, what are you out???
