It begins!

Got little more done today.

I made a piston stop so that I could stop the crank from rotating while I installed the harmonic balancer.

Installed balancer with 3/4 threaded rod and a coupling nut. NEVER HIT BALANCER WITH HAMMER.

Next I installed my 440 source timing pointer. I had to trim the mount so that it worked with my AR Engineering timing cover.

I also used the piston stop to find true top dead center. I ran balancer round till it stopped in the clockwise direction. Write that number down. Then rotate counter clockwise till it stops. Write that number down. I then move the pointer in the correct direction until I get the same amount in both direction. This will give you true top dead center.
