I'm not sure what I'm missing. Got this car disassembled & when going back together it seems the square release has no way to move the latch.

Anyone know if there is a lever or something that slides over the square to move the release?

If I remember correctly there is a nylon piece shaped like a cam lobe. I thought there was one for each side.

darn sure something gone. look at the other side ??

There are two metal tear drop looking pieces that go on the square steel nub stick out of each side. They are held on with a set screw.

Also the threaded hole in the top there is suppose to be a round piece that locks the seat.

I'm sure someone has a parts car to take the pieces off of. I would try and purchase the two small pieces and the complete mechanisms off a donor. I think member cosgig and gdrill have a parts car or two.

Well... 67 buckets didn't have latches on the seat backs. Those appeared in 68 model, mandated along with the addition of shoulder belts. Apparently you will need parts from 68 or 69 model seat(s).
Any loose seat parts are extremely difficult to find. Complete and correct 67 buckets would be easier, ordering the correct skins and all. Good luck

I've got a really nice set of '67 buckets. It's the rear fast back fold down seat that I'm needing the parts from. I got them recovered & back in the car this weekend. The release lever on the back seat just doesn't work, have to move the little latches by hand for now.
