The front rails on my car are in pretty bad shape on the underside. My original plan was to just replace the poorly repaired portion of each rail but when I got wind of Ulf's nice rust free front, I thought I might as well replace the whole thing on each side.
Then I though, well, maybe the trans cross member could use an upgrade too. My car obviously has met with a ditch at some point.
Now that I've actually seen the thing, I might even cut out the bottom portions of the fire wall. Those are bent on both sides on my car. It's difficult to take pics of it since it's all black and I'm lying under the car. All you get are close-ups of weird-looking black sheet metal.
