LSA stays where it is, I guess. Don't know how the rockers got out the door. Dave wouldn't admit what was wrong when we talked, he just said I'm sending you 16 that I personally spent half a day checking. It was later when I called back, that his guy told me they were NOT mis marked, as far as ratio, they were not EVEN 1.5.

I'm guessing there was a bit of a problem. Wondering how many people out there might think they have 1.6 rockers....

So anyhow, I think I'm looking at 2 weeks before the cam gets home. Said he would try and rush it, but I think everyone's in a rush this time of year. What a frustrating build!

This all started as just "a back up motor", incase the one in the car had some catastrophic failure. Meanwhile it's just sitting there, feeling all neglected, wanting to get pounded on....:D

So wait. Hughes "super perfect always exactly the same, spec'd out CNC premium rockers" weren't actually super perfect always exactly the same spec'd out CNC premium rockers?

Well after those flow numbers we saw. I am absolutely shocked. I never would have expected that.

Ok, that's enough sarcasm for now. If they were all UNDER 1.5. I'm curious how close they were to each other. Seems like maybe hughes needs a new CNC machine. Or operator. Or maybe just needs to learn how to run the thing. Reminds me of when I sold bearings/precision machined stuff. The stuff coming out of china was "CNC machined" and "mic'd to within whatever spec". But what they don't tell you. Is that 100,000 dollar CNC machine sits on an uneven dirt floor. Making the machining crap. And that the micrometer they use to "spec" it, was made next door and not calibrated properly. People keep forgetting that all that work you do. Is only as good as the tools/measurements that back it up. And the knowledge and experience that backs that up. It's not as simple as "oh throw it in the CNC and it'll turn out perfect". It won't if that CNC isn't setup right.

Well here's hoping new rockers. A reground cam. And maybe that new intake help you hit the numbers you are aiming for.
