Best footwear for working in concrete all day

Boots(Redwing) here as well. They are like wearing slippers. No way a floppy tennis shoe can provide the same support as a lace up boot. When I wear tennis shoes as opposed to boots I can feel the concrete sucking the life out of my feet, and I feel like I'm walking around barefoot. My pain level is 2 fold. Rather spend $350 for a good boot, and get several years out it, and I can walk over anything without feeling it in my foot. Big difference at the end of the day.
