i read it the first time... funny only cost about 5 bucks for a good 8 minutes at the powerwashing station here, i do it every 2 weeks whether theres snow or not, 90degrees or -10 no real issues for me, main point is salt and brine doesnt get much a chance to eat at the metal if youre constantly washing it off, when you live in a cold weather climate i consider it just basic maintenance
