Sometimes You Win a Cool Trophy
I am not one to care about going to car shows to win trophies, but sometimes you go to a car show that presents some very cool and unusual trophies. Had a chance to go to a local SkillsUSA car show today. This includes two local high school auto tech programs. The primary judges were the program directors and a couple of program graduates. Many of the trophies were also selected by the students in the programs and all of the trophies were made by the students. The proceeds go to send the students to the national competition. That's how you end up with some cool/crazy looking trophies like these:

Best Rat Rod (notice the rat driving) and a Camaro trophy
And shockingly, I managed to come away with this. It even doubles as a lamp.
