holley 2280 bowl vent lever missing

so i bought a used holley 2280 for my 65 273, i rebuilt it and there is some parts missing on the bowl vent, its missing the bowl vent lever, bowl vent spring, and the little pin. i cant find any parts for it either. Anything i can do to the bowl vent? Can i leave it open or can i close it?

Sorry..but never buy a jused or not complete carb.
Buy a new holley like, street avenger, save time and money at the end. Take the right cfm for you engine.
A 318cui need a 650..360cui need a 750.
All that you need to do is think is to dubble up your cui × 2.
Can juse that think about engine that are go for street to hot street on pump gas.
